Celebrating a Year of Fundraising Success for The Alfie Nick Foundation!

What a year it’s been! We’re absolutely thrilled to share the success of our charity fundraising efforts at Gibe in support of The Alfie Nick Foundation. It’s been a journey full of teamwork, fun, and a whole lot of giving back—and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved together.

A Unified Goal: £1000 to Start

When we kicked off our fundraising efforts, we set an ambitious yet achievable goal on our JustGiving page: to beat our previous record of £1,070 and make an even bigger impact for The Alfie Nick Foundation. This cause is close to our hearts, and we knew we could make a difference through a series of fun, sport-themed events designed to bring everyone together. But what happened next exceeded all our expectations.

Hitting Our Goal Early

By the halfway point of the year, we were absolutely blown away by the generosity and enthusiasm from everyone at the company. Not only did we beat our £1000 target—we smashed it! It was clear that we had the support of every team member, from the first-time participants to the seasoned fundraisers, and we were determined to push even further. The energy was contagious, and with every event, it felt like we were closer to making a bigger impact.

The £2000 Milestone: Let’s Make It Happen

With our £1000 goal behind us, we set our sights higher. £2000 seemed like a huge challenge, but if there was one thing we had learned, it was that we could accomplish anything when we worked together. Prizes, and a Day Off!

The concept was simple, but the impact was huge. Each of us donated £20 to enter, and in return, we got the chance to win some fantastic prizes. There were gift cards, hampers, and other fun goodies up for grabs, but the grand prize was something everyone had their eye on: a day off work! It wasn’t just about the prizes, though. The afternoon was a perfect chance for us to relax, connect with colleagues from different departments, and share some laughs while supporting an incredible cause.

Gibe Bingo was a massive success, and it helped us raise the final push we needed to reach our £2000 goal.
