Gibe and Beyond Retail have worked together for years on Tap Warehouse. When Beyond Retail launched two new brands, Drench and Only Radiators, these were initially built on Magento. After a few years of comparison they decided GibeCommerce was the best platform to use for all of their brands.

Drench is a luxury bathroom retailer with 30+ years experience in the industry. Drench offers products for all budgets, for both the general public and trade, and provides a 3D design service, allowing customers to work with Drench to design a dream bathroom.

Drench is integrated with Beyond Retail’s order management system, Brightpearl. It is a busy site taking hundreds of orders a day. The launch of Drench was not the end of the project. Now that all three sites are on the same platform the future of development turns towards continuous improvement. Regular updates will be happening to make the user experience better. All of which will be A/B tested of course. Whilst also making SEO, security, accessibility, speed and performance as current as they possibly can be.

Now, built with Umbraco powering it’s content pages and GibeCommerce providing the ecommerce platform, Drench shares the same functionality as it’s sister websites Only Radiators and Tap Warehouse. This makes it easier to update and maintain all three websites. Drench is integrated with Beyond Retail’s order management system, Brightpearl. It’s a busy site taking hundreds of orders everyday!

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

With a 40% improvement on server response time, nearly 12% increase in revenue and just under 5% increase in conversion rate, Drench is fast catching up to the success of Tap Warehouse with it’s high-performing ecommerce site. 

The launch of Drench was not the end of the project. Now that all three sites are on the same platform the future of development turns towards continuous improvement. Regular updates and site improvements, after A/B testing, are already underway to further enhance the user experience and site conversion. Other areas of ongoing improvement; SEO, security, accessibility and speed to make site performance as current and efficient as possible.
