At Gibe Digital, we love the opportunities that come with working closely with our clients, and when the chance arose to visit Beyond Retail in Bournemouth for their New Year party, we jumped at the chance to make it a memorable experience. The combination of good company, delicious food, and even a sunrise beach run had us feeling ready to take on 2025 in style!
Kicking off the weekend with a scenic drive, we arrived at the hotel where we would be staying in Bournemouth. After having about 10 minutes to check in and get ready, we made our way to Koi Thai where we would be spending the evening.
Evening Feast at Koi Thai
The evening meal was held at Koi Thai, a local gem serving vibrant and mouthwatering Thai food. We were treated to a variety of small sharing dishes, which encouraged a fun and communal dining experience. Everyone dug in, trying different flavors, from the fragrant curries to the crispy spring rolls, and everything in between. The blend of spices and fresh ingredients made each bite a delight, and it wasn’t just about the food—it was about the laughs, conversations, and the joy of being in great company.
Early Morning Beach Run
As if that wasn't enough, the morning after the party, we decided to take advantage of Bournemouth’s stunning coastline. Despite the early start, there was no shortage of enthusiasm from the Gibe team. We headed to the beach for a refreshing early morning run.
The cold sea breeze and the view of the waves crashing on the shore gave us the perfect environment to clear our minds and start the year with energy and determination. There’s something about the ocean air that makes you feel both invigorated and grounded, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.
A Perfect Start to 2025
All in all, our visit to Bournemouth was the perfect way to start the new year. From the camaraderie shared over delicious food to the breath of fresh air with our beach run, it was a weekend that embodied the spirit of collaboration and growth.
