The holiday season is always a special time of year, and for the team at Gibe Digital, this year’s Christmas party was no exception. After a busy and successful year, it was time to come together, reflect on our achievements, and enjoy some much-needed fun. Here’s a look back at our fantastic Christmas celebration that combined a mix of delicious food, and lots of fun games!
End-of-year meeting
As we do every year we kicked off the day with an important end-of-year meeting. It was the perfect time to pause and take stock of what we had achieved as a company over the past twelve months. Hosted by Pete, we highlighted our successes and discussed future goals over the next year.
Lunch at Pasture
After the end-of-year meeting, we all made our way to Pasture, a restaurant known for its creative, mouthwatering dishes. The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and the food did not disappoint. We indulged in a 4 course meal from tender meats to fresh seasonal vegetables, every dish was a delight. We spent hours chatting, laughing, and indulging in incredible food.
The Giving Tree
Normally this is the time when we would open our secret Santa gifts, but this year we did something a lot more fulfilling. A month earlier we had participated in The Giving Tree Initiative where we gifted Christmas gifts to children who otherwise would not have received any gifts. Although secret Santa can be a lot of fun, we all agreed that providing some festive magic was a much better use of our time (and money).
Games at Lane7
After a satisfying meal, the next stop was the lively entertainment venue, Lane7. This place is well known for its casual yet competitive atmosphere, and it did not disappoint. We kicked things off with shooting and shuffleboard, testing our skills and enjoying some friendly competition. After this the team split into two, one half going to play beer pong and the other half off to the pool tables.
Reflection and the year ahead
The Gibe Digital Christmas party was a perfect balance of reflection and fun. We took time to appreciate all we’ve accomplished as a company, but we also made sure to have fun and celebrate the friendships we’ve formed throughout the year. Whether it was during the end-of-year meeting or while tossing ping pong balls into cups, everyone enjoyed themselves and left feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready for the exciting challenges ahead.
