This week, I setup a set of talks and presentations for like-minded front end developers at BristolFED, a group I setup to share knowledge and skills.
This was the inaugural event and had a great turn out of about 20 people. Gibe Digital were very gracious in providing pizzas and beer for the crowd that turned up.
3 speakers, including myself, set about the topic of the evening:
Practical Front End Development.
Karl Tynan - Starting a Responsive Project
Ever wanted to know where to keep your files? How do other agencies organise their CSS, JavaScript and HTML?
All these questions were answered from my point of view. See the presentation slides to find out how I do it.
Frank West - How to Build a Great Website
Frank West, talked through how he uses his experiences to build a truly great website. (Slides to follow soon).
Maff Rigby - AngularJS Basics
Maff Rigby showed us a short demonstration of how to setup a single page application using AngularJS. See the presentation slides and demo files to find out how to build your own application.
